The MD161 ceiling bar is a tasteful, smooth profile finished with fine milling. It will be perfect for classic interiors, emphasizing the harmony and timeless atmosphere of the interior. The molding was made of highly resistant ProFoam plastic. It is characterized by resistance to water and sun, so it can be installed both in the kitchen or bathroom, as well as the living room. MD161 features patented ScratchShield® technology, which is designed to strengthen and harden the surface. The wall strip also features LightGuard® technology, which eliminates the problem of LEDs shining through the material. Thanks to this solution, you can enjoy an additional source of light in your home and a beautiful visual effect. The molding has been coated with a special primer that smooths the texture and makes it easier to paint. .

Maximum hardening of the strip
The skirting board has innovative ScratchShield technology, which consists in maximizing the hardening of the skirting board with polymer compounds by 40% compared to skirting boards that do not have this technology. Increased impact strength and impact resistance, translate into a noticeable improvement in the durability of the molding when trying to scratch it with a sharp tool. Skirting boards with ScratchShield technology are the toughest skirting boards on the market.
Waterproof
The strip is fully waterproof. This means that it can be successfully used in rooms with high humidity, such as bathrooms or kitchens. In a situation of flooding, direct contact will not affect the appearance of the strip.
UV resistant
The molding, thanks to special refinements and coatings, is resistant to UV radiation. Installation of the molding in a sunny place will not cause its yellowing or discoloration.
Primer-coated strip
The molding is factory-coated with a special primer with smoothing, protecting and facilitating the distribution of subsequent layers of paint. For a perfect visual effect, we recommend painting the molding with any water-based paint after installation.
Resistant to swelling
Mardom Decor mouldings, unlike those made of MDF and other plastics, do not deform, delaminate or swell under the influence of moisture. They are dimensionally stable and do not shrink or expand under the influence of changes in atmospheric conditions in the room.
LightGuard Technology
The skirting board has a unique LightGuard® technology, which completely prevents the LEDs from pointing through the surface of the skirting board. The PolyForce® material from which the trim is made is incredibly dense and enriched with specialized enhancers, so the light diffuses beautifully around the profile. The back side of the molding with LightGuard® technology has specially shaped spaces for the insertion of LED tape. This allows the light to fall at an angle that gives the best illumination effect. Gluing an LED strip to a strip that does not have LightGuard® technology results in unsightly clearances.
For use with LED lighting
The specially profiled inner side of the strip has space for inserting LED tape. Thanks to this, you can get the effect of gentle illumination of the room.
