The MD024 lighting bar is a profile with a simple, oblong shape. Its universal design and high technical parameters make it an excellent finishing element for any interior. Special LightGuard® technology does not let the light through the surface of the strip, so that the strip with LEDs is not visible. MD024 was made of PolyForce plastic. It is an extremely durable polymer, resistant to moisture and sunlight. The light strip does not deform after contact with water, nor does it yellow under prolonged UV exposure. The light strip has been further hardened with ScratchShield® technology, thanks to which the material does not scratch and is resistant to impacts from furniture, for example. The strip is also available in a premium version, covered with an exclusive satin varnish.

Maximum hardening of the strip
The skirting board has innovative ScratchShield technology, which consists in maximizing the hardening of the skirting board with polymer compounds by 40% compared to skirting boards that do not have this technology. Increased impact strength and impact resistance, translate into a noticeable improvement in the durability of the molding when trying to scratch it with a sharp tool. Skirting boards with ScratchShield technology are the toughest skirting boards on the market.
Waterproof
The strip is fully waterproof. This means that it can be successfully used in rooms with high humidity, such as bathrooms or kitchens. In a situation of flooding, direct contact will not affect the appearance of the strip.
UV resistant
The molding, thanks to special refinements and coatings, is resistant to UV radiation. Installation of the molding in a sunny place will not cause its yellowing or discoloration.
Primer-coated strip
The molding is factory-coated with a special primer with smoothing, protecting and facilitating the distribution of subsequent layers of paint. For a perfect visual effect, we recommend painting the molding with any water-based paint after installation.
Resistant to swelling
Mardom Decor mouldings, unlike those made of MDF and other plastics, do not deform, delaminate or swell under the influence of moisture. They are dimensionally stable and do not shrink or expand under the influence of changes in atmospheric conditions in the room.
LightGuard Technology
The skirting board has a unique LightGuard® technology, which completely prevents the LEDs from pointing through the surface of the skirting board. The PolyForce® material from which the trim is made is incredibly dense and enriched with specialized enhancers, so the light diffuses beautifully around the profile. The back side of the molding with LightGuard® technology has specially shaped spaces for the insertion of LED tape. This allows the light to fall at an angle that gives the best illumination effect. Gluing an LED strip to a strip that does not have LightGuard® technology results in unsightly clearances.
For use with LED lighting
The specially profiled inner side of the strip has space for inserting LED tape. Thanks to this, you can get the effect of gentle illumination of the room.
