The MD030 skirting board is a floor profile with a minimalist, slightly rounded form. The inner side of the skirting board allows you to hide wires and cables, which will affect the aesthetics of the entire interior. During the production process, the molding is coated with a special protective primer, which smooths the surface, giving it uniformity and a matte finish. Such a coating is an ideal base for the application of subsequent layers of water-based paint – you can paint the mouldings in any color. The profile has innovative ScratchShield® technology, which consists in maximum hardening of the surface and protecting it from damage when you try to scratch it with a sharp tool. Thus, the impact of a vacuum cleaner or children’s toys pose no threat to the skirting board. Mardom Decor skirting boards are fully waterproof – you can install them in bathrooms, kitchens or other rooms exposed to constant contact with moisture or frequent cleaning.

Maximum hardening of the strip
The skirting board has innovative ScratchShield technology, which consists in maximizing the hardening of the skirting board with polymer compounds by 40% compared to skirting boards that do not have this technology. Increased impact strength and impact resistance, translate into a noticeable improvement in the durability of the molding when trying to scratch it with a sharp tool. Skirting boards with ScratchShield technology are the toughest skirting boards on the market.
Waterproof
The strip is fully waterproof. This means that it can be successfully used in rooms with high humidity, such as bathrooms or kitchens. In a situation of flooding, direct contact will not affect the appearance of the strip.
UV resistant
The molding, thanks to special refinements and coatings, is resistant to UV radiation. Installation of the molding in a sunny place will not cause its yellowing or discoloration.
Primer-coated strip
The molding is factory-coated with a special primer with smoothing, protecting and facilitating the distribution of subsequent layers of paint. For a perfect visual effect, we recommend painting the molding with any water-based paint after installation.
Resistant to swelling
Mardom Decor mouldings, unlike those made of MDF and other plastics, do not deform, delaminate or swell under the influence of moisture. They are dimensionally stable and do not shrink or expand under the influence of changes in atmospheric conditions in the room.
